Joey is Carefree’s CTO. For more than six years, he has designed and built the technology that connects unpaid carers with donated hotel breaks, from the booking experience to the systems supporting Carefree’s hotel and community partnerships.

He brings two decades of hospitality operations experience and has founded and exited two tech startups. His work combines service design, no-code systems and AI, with a focus on accessible services, responsible use of data and giving a small team more time for the work that needs people.
