Carefree is a charity transforming vacant hotel rooms into vital breaks for full-time unpaid carers. Change happens overnight.

## Change happens overnight

We know how challenging it can be to care for someone. A couple of days away with a partner or a friend can work wonders. It may seem like a small thing but it can make a huge difference. Read a book, go for a walk, or simply catch up on some sleep. Whatever you choose to do, you'll return home with a whole new outlook on things, refreshed and rejuvenated.

## Our offer

**Who can get a break?** To be eligible you need to be over 18 years of age and provide more than 30 hours of unpaid care per week.

**What are the costs?** We charge a £38 admin fee per break to help us run our charity. You're also responsible for paying for your travel and other expenses.

**Who can I go with?** Most hotels offer double or twin rooms with breakfast included. You can take someone with you, but this should not be your cared-for person so that you can truly get a break away from caring.
